Stating that multiple elections hindered the government functions, BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal on Thursday expressed strong support for one nation, one election initiative.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the Congress and INDIA bloc are busy insulting the Hindu faith and beliefs adding that these were the same people who called the worship of Lord Ram a "paakhand" (hyprocrisy).
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be held at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Lal Parade ground in the state capital Bhopal on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda and others will be present at the ceremony.
Yadav became an MLA for the first time in 2013 from Ujjain south assembly constituency and won his second term in 2018. Subsequently, he was elected an MLA for the third time in 2023 and chosen as the CM of the state.
Bharti told ANI, "People who talk big are hollow like this. He (Narottam Mishra) won the last three assembly elections by violating the model code of conduct. Out of which one is about paid news and its case is under trial in the Supreme Court."

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to have taken a comfortable lead in Madhya Pradesh as per the latest trends of the Election Commission of India.
"Wait till tomorrow, they (Congress) will raise questions on EVM machines, as they are raising questions on exit polls. When Congress party faces defeat then they question Court, army, vaccines, exit polls and will raise questions on EVM tomorrow," Mishra said.
