Dispelling rumours of a strain in ties with the state leadership, Congress MLA Nitu Kumari on Friday said she is not 'upset' with the party but wants to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the Nawaad constituency of Bihar.
"You (public) gave me love and trust for so many years. If they (public) want to bid farewell to Kamal Nath, then it is their choice, I am ready to bid farewell. I don't want to impose myself, this is a matter of your (public) decision," Nath said.
