Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday told Chinese President Xi Jinping that he had looked at China's proposals for a resolution of the Ukraine conflict and that he viewed them with respect, reported Reuters.
"At the invitation of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Russia from March 20 to 22," the statement read.
There is a speculation that Xi may visit in April or in early May when Russia celebrates its World War II victory over Germany, the Wall Street Journal reported.
