Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said that the 100 years of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are not merely the journey of an organisation, but an inspiring saga of nation-building. He congratulated the RSS volunteers for their "devotion" to the motherland.
Mohan Bhagwat participated in the book launch event of Prahlad Patel, written on Narmada Parikrama. Bhagwat emphasised that there was no dispute in the world and the environment also didn't deteriorate despite the high technological progress.
"People fear what would happen to them if someone else grows bigger. Where will they be if India grows? So, they imposed a tariff," Bhagwat said, without naming any country.
"The Prime Minister, in his desperate bid to curry favour with the RSS leadership, has written an over-the-top tribute to Mohan Bhagwat on his 75th birthday today," Jairam Ramesh said in an X post.
Hosable currently holds the second-highest position in RSS, after Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, and had come to Jodhpur to attend the RSS's All India Coordination Meeting.
Gehlot also urged clarity on remarks made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on "Sangh will not support movement for the Kashi and Mathura temples" but won't stop Swayamsevaks if they want to join the temple cause.
