Established in 2007, Modern Russian was created to promote the Russian language, enhance literacy levels and provide linguistic assistance. Over the past 17 years, the initiative has offered practical philology services, including emergency linguistic consultations widely used by journalists
According to TV BRICS, Students from 14 Indian universities will participate in the telebridge. The participants represent 13 cities across nine states, including Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolhapur, and institutions from Gujarat, West Bengal, Kerala, and other regions.
The project is a collaborative effort of the Modern Russian portal, the TV BRICS International Media Network, and the Eurasia Today information and analytical platform. Its launch coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian Media Group, which will be marked on 11 July 2026.
The hosts of the teleconference were Aleksandra Burman, Head of International Projects at TV BRICS and Tamara Skok, PhD in Philology, head of the "Modern Russian" international project.
The teleconference will be organised by the international outreach project "Modern Russian" of the TV BRICS international media network in cooperation with the Indian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature and with the support of the Russian House in New Delhi.
