Karur district has been receiving widespread moderate rainfall for the past two days. Since Saturday morning, moderate rainfall has lashed various places across Karur and heavy rainfall has been experienced at some places. It continued to rain even at night.
IMD Bhopal Meteorologist, Prakash Dhole says that there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at some parts of western Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
IMD scientist, HR Biswas on Friday said that rainfall activity has occurred in the last 24 hours and due to low pressure in the North-West Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha coast and West Bengal coast its influence is going to cause light to moderate rainfall for the next 24 hours
IMD Shimla issued the forecast at 3:00 PM today and said, "In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of moderate rain in Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, Una, Kinnaur, Lahaul, Spiti and heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places."
