The Law Enforcement agencies in Bangladesh on Sunday stated they have arrested two more individuals in connection with the mob lynching of the Hindu youth, Dipu Chandra Das, in the Mymensingh district, taking the total number of arrests to 12.
"The situation in Bangladesh is absolutely alarming for India. The recent incident of the lynching of a Hindu person and the Bangladesh government saying it has arrested 10 of the accused is a small welcome step... We are seeing a growing anti-India sentiment," Sachdev said.
Dr Ilyasi said that humanity had been deeply shamed by the incident and criticised the manner in which the minor was killed. He said the brutality with which the child was murdered and the alleged act of hanging the body from a tree after death were utterly wrong and unacceptable.
Ten individuals have been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Dipu Chandra Das, a 27-year-old Hindu youth, in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) apprehended seven suspects, while the police arrested three others.
In a post on X, Tharoor questioned the Bangladeshi regime about actions against the murderers of Dipu Chandra Das and measures being taken to prevent such incidents.
