Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday in a letter addressed to the Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar requested to secure the release of 12 Tamil fishermen detained by the Maldivian Coast Guard.
Bharatiya Janata Party delegates will meet the party member families who were arrested recently for creating a ruckus over raising a flag post outside Tamil Nadu party chief K Annamalai's residence today.
"I wish to draw your kind attention on the need to expedite the granting of assent to the Tamil Nadu Admission to Undergraduate Medical Degree Courses Bill, 2021, which has been pending for the presidential assent for more than a year," the Chief Minister wrote in his letter.
In his post on X, Annamalai shared a video of Virugambakkam's MLA Prabhakar Raja, wherein the latter can be seen purportedly asking the students of a school to sign a memorandum while making disparaging remarks against Prime Minister Modi and his government.
