In a joint operation with Assam Police, the Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered and seized drugs worth Rs 26 crore, an official statement said on Friday.
Polls will be held in Mizoram on November 7, Chhattisgarh on November 7 and November 17, Madhya Pradesh on November 17, Rajasthan on November 23, and Telangana on November 30.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi at 6 p.m., and it will focuse on the planning for the upcoming elections in five states--Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram.
Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram will go to polls on different days from November 7-30, and votes will be counted for the five states on December 3.
Ahead of the assembly polls in Mizoram, a joint operation by Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police led to the recovery and seizure of a large number of explosives and ammunition. The joint operation by the paramilitary force and the state police took place in Mizoram's Siaha district.
