"It is a proud moment for India because the emphasis has been given to engineering technology in the country since independence...I want to give my best wishes to the scientists and I pray for the success of Chandrayaan-3..." the senior AAP leader said.
After Russia's Luna-25 mission failed, all eyes will be on India as its Chandrayaan-3 is set to land on the moon on August 23, 2023 (Wednesday), around 18:04 IST.
''Chandrayaan-3 will definitely be a game changer for India and I hope it will be successful. India will become an inspiration to the entire world. Let's wait for the launch and pray for the best," said Nambi Narayanan to ANI.
Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar exploration mission, will make India the fourth country to land its spacecraft on the surface of the moon and demonstrate the country’s ability for safe and soft landing on the lunar surface.
The countdown for the launch of the mission has begun today at 14:35:17 IST ahead of take-off on Friday from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
