Shifting the focus to its next space odyssey after successfully placing a lander on the moon's uncharted South Pole region, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set for the country's maiden solar mission -- Aditya-L1.

"Aditya-L1, the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun, is getting ready for the launch. The satellite realised at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, has arrived at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota," ISRO said in a post on X (formally known as Twitter) on Monday.
"Congratulations to the ISRO team. The moral support you all gave and the enthusiasm you exhibited...Let us hope that we will have a very successful mission ahead of us," Nambi Narayanan said.
