Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Legislative Assembly and BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday, spoke to Rabilal Chandra Das, the father of Hindu worker Dipu Chandra Das, who was brutally beaten to death and set ablaze by a mob in Mymensingh district of Bangladesh.
"What happened in Bangladesh is wrong, but similar lynching happens here in India as well, targeting minorities. Targeting minorities anywhere is wrong, and I condemn it," Dalwai told ANI.
Talking to ANI about the mob lynching of Dipu Chandra Das, Hussain said that Interim Government leader Muhammad Yunus was encouraging anti-India sentiments.
"Stalin lectures others about religious tolerance, harmony, and secularism, but his son says Sanatan should be eliminated. His leader, A Raja, has said that Hinduism and Hindus are like AIDS. The DMK government is denying the rights of Hindus by not allowing them to light lamps at temples
The protest which started from the premises of the Janaki temple in ancient city of Janakpur chanted slogans demanding justice for Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das killed in Bangladesh.

"I would like to remind our Chief Minister that it is very important for a government to ensure the rights of the majority of the state are also being respected and the duties towards them are fulfilled," Selvam added.
"When a few right-wing violent groups, acting in the name of the majority, indulge in attacks and riots, even as the Prime Minister participates in Christmas celebrations, it sends a disturbing message to the nation," Stalin posted on X.
According to the police, the salon owner lured the girl to a vacant family residence in Raja Vihar under the pretext of introducing her to his associate, the bank employee. Once at the location, the duo allegedly coerced the minor into drinking alcohol before sexually assaulting her.
The remarks come as relations between India and Bangladesh have encountered another strain following the killing of youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi in Dhaka, which triggered a wave of anti-India protests amid heightened political tensions.
Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal held a bike rally on Wednesday in Vijayawada against the mob lynching of Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh.
