A POCSO court in Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli convicted a man of raping a six-year-old girl and awarded the convict 25 years of imprisonment in a five-year-old case.
The accused has been identified as Shivdas Manikpuri, a resident of Bhanwar Village, Janjgir Champa. The police also rescued the minor girl from the possession of the accused.
Delhi Police have arrested all three accused for allegedly throwing acid at a 17-year-old girl in the national capital's Dwarka this morning, the police said.

The special (POCSO) court of judge Shailja Gupta found the accused Hanumat Jatav guilty under sections 376AB, 376 (2) of the IPC section 5, 6 of the POCSO Act whereas accused Urmila Sahu found guilty under Section 109 of the IPC and sections 16, 17 of the POCSO act.
The incident occurred on December 7 when the minor girl was going for her coaching classes under Ghamapur police station area of the district. The girl is a student of Class 10.
