AIADMK leader Kovai Sathyan hit out at state Health Minister Ma Subramanian over the deaths of 5 people during the Air Force Air show at the Marina Beach and demanded his resignation.

AIADMK leader Kovai Sathyan on Sunday demanded the resignation of Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian over the Chennai Air Show incident and dubbed it as "complete mismanagement" of the DMK government.
Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian on Monday said that the state does not need the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and that some other states have a similar viewpoint about the medical entrance exam
"Following Northeast Monsoon, the total number of medical camps so far conducted is 16,516 camps across Tamil Nadu. This is historic as there have never been this many medical camps that have been conducted. In these medical camps, 7 lakhs 83 thousand 443 people have benefitted."
In an effort to combat the spread of monsoon-related illnesses, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian on Friday that "our state government had decided to do special fever camps in the monsoon and planned to conduct 1000 camps every week throughout the monsoon season, and it will be done
"Today we are celebrating the 8th National Ayurvedic Day. There are 1,443 Indian systems of medicine available here in Tamil Nadu. We still have the traditional medical treatment through Ayurvedic medicines preserved," Subramanian said.
Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian on Sunday after receiving another batch of Indian nationals from Israel at Chennai airport said that a website with details of 'Tamilians' living abroad will be published soon.
"Dengue cases is under controll in Tamil Nadu this year. Till now it's just 4000 cases in Tamil Nadu. Death rates are also decreasing. We do awarness campaign. From October 1, dengue and other fever camps will be conducted across 100 places," the Tamil Nadu Health Minister said.
