Putting to rest any concerns or speculations about the privatization of the Indian Railways, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday said that the government is committed to maintaining and improving the quality of services of the Railways.

Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official state visit to the US Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that the Prime Minister's efforts towards the independent foreign policy have made the world see India as a trusted partner.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday held a meeting with the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and State government officials in Odisha's Balasore, where nearly 300 people were killed in an accident involving three trains earlier this month.
