Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched the registration for farmers to sell turmeric at Rs 90 per kilogram under a Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme. The initiative aims to support natural farming and strengthen the rural economy.
The demonstration was held in response to the action taken against farm leaders in Punjab, who were protesting against the government while pressing various demands, including a legal guarantee for a Minimum Support Price (MSP) on all crops.
