The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) today published a weather forecast expecting the country to be affected, from Saturday through Wednesday, by an extension of surface low pressure from the East with an extension of upper air low pressure accompanied by a Jet stream from the West.

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) today launched a workshop for factories and calibration laboratories in collaboration with the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD).
The workshop aimed to discuss the role of early warning systems in contributing to the goals of the World Meteorological Organisation and raising awareness among communities exposed to risks.
