Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar, on Friday said the Centre has been regularly issuing guidelines to the states and Union Territories amid a nationwide upward spiral in the Covid-19 cases.
Stating that the government has already sounded the bugle regarding the rise in COVID cases, the expert stressed that there is no need for a lockdown as of now.
The Chief Minister directed the officers that Intensity Care Units should be functional in all districts and there should be no shortage of medicines, specialists and technicians.
The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday will hold a virtual meeting with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) at 4 pm on COVID-19 preparedness, situation and awareness, IMA informed ANI.
