The IPL TV and digital rights for the 2023-2027 cycle have been sold to Star India and Viacom18 respectively for a whopping Rs 48,390 crore for 410 matches at e-auctions on Tuesday. IPL is now the second most valued sporting league in the world in terms of per match value.

According to latest information with ANI, Package A is currently at 23,370 crore which is 57 crore per match and Package B of Digital Rights for India is at 19,680 crore which is 48 crore per match.
There are four specific packages in which the Indian Premier League e-auction will be conducted or 74 games per season for a five-year period from 2023-2027 with a provision of increasing the number of matches to 94 in the final two years.
