Uttarakhand government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami showed its capability by conducting the 18-day National Games at nine places within the state. The state also improved its ranking in the medal tally, according to a official statement.
The 38th edition of the National Games, India's very own multi-sport event similar to the Olympics, witnessed participation from players of 28 different states, eight Union Territories and SSCB battle it out for medals across 34 sports, as per Olympics.com.
