India finished the final day of the Special Olympics World Games by taking their medal tally to 202 medals (76 gold, 75 silver and 51 bronze), with the last of the medals coming from the athletics track. Indian athletes notched six medals from the track events (2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze)
Korea is in second place in the competition with four gold, three silver and one bronze medal, a total of eight medals. The USA is third with three gold medals and three silver medals each.
PUC picked up five golds in Rowing, two each in Athletics and Shooting and one in Judo, to end the day with a tally of 21 gold, 12 silver and 16 bronze medals.
Rifle shooter Deepak Kumar participated in the previous edition of the Khelo India University games but failed to make it to the medal tally. As the ongoing edition is taking place in his home state, he is working harder to make his way onto the dais.

China maintained the top position on the medal tally at the end of competition day three with five gold, one silver and two bronze medals in their kitty. India lies second with three bronze medals to go with a gold and silver each.
India are placed comfortably on top of the medal tally with three golds, with Hungary, Britain and Slovakia winning the other three awarded. There are four more finals coming up in the next couple of days.
