Five students of Badaun's Government Medical College drowned while taking baths in Ganga on the occasion of Mahashivratri on Saturday. Out of which, two were rescued by the divers while three are still missing.
Five MBBS Students of the Badaun government medical college of the 2019 batch were drowned while taking a bath in the Ganga here in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district. While two students were rescued safely, Efforts are on to find the missing 3 students, police said on Saturday.
The ministry said that the decision was taken considering the future of over 13,000 MBBS students who were not eligible for the NEET PG 2023 exam due to the delayed internship.
