After announcing that BSP will fight the upcoming elections on its own, the BSP chief said the leaders of her party have started preparing for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav on Thursday said hit out at Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati and Republic Party of India leader and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, claiming they have become "political non-entities".

The youth who died was identified as Nitin Ahirwar (18), a resident of Barodiya Nainagir villager in Sagar district. The incident occurred under Khurai police station in the district on Thursday.
Party sources said the expansion of the organisation, preparations of the party for high stakes battle and booth-level poll strategy, were among the issues, which were likely to be discussed in the meeting.
According to the list issued by the party on Thursday evening, the names of candidates for seven seats out of 230 have been announced. Of these seven assembly constituencies, two seats are in Rewa, two in Satna, one each in Chhatarpur, Niwari and Morena districts.
Referring to the ruling by the Patna High Court, which has approved the caste census by the Bihar government, the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh said that demand for a similar census in UP was gaining momentum but the ruling BJP was not prepared for it.
"Such communal incidents are unfortunate. The law and order situation in Haryana has completely collapsed much like in Manipur. Along with that, the state's intelligence system has also failed, which is unfortunate and worrisome," the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo said.

Mayawati lashed out at the alliance of 26-like minded parties, INDIA, and said the Congress is dreaming of coming back to the Centre by forming an alliance with casteist, capitalist-minded parties like itself.
