Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in a tragic multi-vehicle accident on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh and announced ex-gratia assistance for the victims from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF).
The District Magistrate has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the horrific road accident. The Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) will submit an inquiry report on the accident's cause and measures to prevent similar accidents in the future.
