As the sixth ICC Cricket World Cup ends, Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles expressed delight in joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Cricket World Cup match in Ahmedabad today.
Indian Air Force's (IAF) Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team conducted a stunning air show over the Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad on Sunday prior to the historic match between India and Australia.
After a scintillating win over India in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup, Australian skipper Pat Cummins lauded Travis Head for his match-winning century, saying that backing the opener while he was injured paid off.
"Congratulations Team Australia. India played well and won hearts. Your talent and sportsman's spirit was visible in the game. Every single Indian is proud of your remarkable performance throughout the World Cup. We will cherish and cheer for you, always," Kharge said after the match.
Meanwhile, Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles reached Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium to attend the cricket World Cup final match between India and Australia and cheer for his team.
The Australian High Commissioner to India, Philipp Green, shared about Marles arrival and posted an image of both of them watching the match in the world's biggest cricket stadium.
