President of India, Draupadi Murmu on Thursday inagurated Parvati Bhawan and "Navdurga Path" Skyway at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir.
A skywalk project at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan is set to be inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu during her two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir beginning Wednesday.
To mark the occasion of World Sanskrit Day, students of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul presented an impressive Sanskrit play at the auditorium of Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra for commemoration and revival of the ancient Indian language.
Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer today attended the special prayers to mark the celebration of the 38th Foundation Day of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at Katra. The Board was formed on this day in 1986.
Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has entered into an agreement with the courier service firm, DTDC Express Limited, for providing logistics, packing and door-to-door speedy delivery of Prasad Boxes to the devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi across the country, said the Board officials.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday inaugurated Prasad-cum-Souvenir Counter of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board in the departure area of Jammu Airport.
"This is for those who cannot reach the holy shrine. A courier service has also been developed to deliver Prasad to their homes," he said adding that it was the demand for piligrims for a long time.
