Five fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the blaze, officials said, adding that the fire was brought under control after more than two hours.
Deputy director of the UP Fire Department, Ajay Kumar told ANI, "Efforts are still being made to extinguish the fire, for which hydraulic fire tenders are being taken from Lucknow along with army vehicles and tenders have also been sought from the surrounding districts of the city".
As many as six people died and seven others were rescued after a massive fire broke out at a residential complex in Telangana's Secunderabad on Thursday evening, informed officials on Friday.
