Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday held detailed reviews of the flood situation in Solapur and Beed districts, directing the administration to intensify relief and rescue operations while ensuring citizens' safety amid continuing heavy rainfall in the Marathwada region.
The India Meteorological Department on Saturday issued a warning of increased rainfall intensity in many districts of the state between September 27 and September 30, said a Maharashtra govt statement.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said that the Chief Minister will visit Solapur, while he will be on a visit to Dharashiv in Marathwada.

The panchnamas of crops damaged due to heavy rain between June to August have already happened, with which people are getting assistance. Panchnamas of agricultural crops damaged by the rains currently falling in Marathwada have not yet been done.
Chief Minister Fadnavis said that land has been acquired for the Samruddhi Highway in record time. Due to this route, 24 districts of the state, including Vidarbha, Marathwada, and North Maharashtra, have been connected to JNPT port; now, this highway will be connected to Vadhan port. Rs 55
