In the wake of the violent incidents over Maratha reservation in Maharashtra's Beed, District Collector Dipa Mudhol Munde on Monday issued prohibitory orders under CrPC 144(2) in a 5-kilometre radius area.
"I was inside my home when it was attacked. Fortunately, none of my family members or staff were injured. We are all safe but there is a huge loss of property due to fire," Solanke said.
After the Maratha reservation meeting held today, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has said that the government have formed an advisory board under the leadership of various retired Judges to look into the matter.
As per a release issued by the state government, the meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted for Maratha Reservation and Facilities was scheduled to be held on Monday, October 30 in Mantralaya, the government building.
