Rhythm Sangwan finished third in the final with a score of 219.1, behind Olympic champion Anna Korakaki of Greece and gold medalist Olena Kostevych of Ukraine from the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. It was Rhythm Sangwan's first individual senior medal at the World Cup of Shooting.

Olympic silver medalist Vijay Kumar from Himachal Pradesh won the national title for men's 25 m centre fire pistol with a score of 583. Anish Bhanwala of Haryana and Indian Army's Gurpreet Singh had 582 points each and were the other two on the podium
Olympian Manu Bhaker won the junior women's air pistol with a similarly tight 17-13 victory over Telangana's Esha Singh. Rhythm was yet again in bronze position however she did win the gold in the Youth category, with a 16-12 win over Sanskriti.
Manu and Sarabjot had earlier topped the qualification round as well with a combined score of 575, where the Karnataka pair had finished second with 573 to setup the title clash. Punjab and ONGC shared the bronze medals.
Sarabjot defeated Gaurav Rana of the Air Force 16-4 in the gold medal match for the individual crown and also partnered with Sumit Raman and Anmol Jain to pick up the team gold in the event with a combined effort of 1736.
In a stellar show, Manu representing Haryana outgunned CRPF's Pushpanjali Rana 33-27 in the women's medal match at the MP Shooting Academy range in Bhopal and then her state-mate Vibhuti Bhatia 32-24, in the junior women's title round to bag an individual double. She had already secured both
