Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal felicitated double Olympic medalist Manu Baker at his residence in the national capital on Friday and presented her with a cheque of Rs 10 lakhs.
With four gold medals and one silver each by Esha Singh and Palak, the Indian shooting contingent leads the Asian Airgun Championship table with 34 medals, out of which 22 are gold, eight silver and four bronze.
They now have a tally of 30 medals, including 11 gold, seven silver and 12 bronze and still place comfortably behind China in second place in the standings
