Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal skipped the Enforcement Directorate's summons for the fifth time in connection with the money laundering probe related to irregularities in the Delhi excise policy 2021-22 case.
The Rouse Avenue court in Delhi allowed the hearing of the plea of accused Sarvesh Mishra in connection with the excise policy case and granted him regular bail on Wednesday.
The Court also extended the judicial custody of AAP MP Sanjay Singh and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia till February 3, 2024. They were produced through video conferencing from Tihar Jail.
"I am very emotional. I want to thank Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh. The agitation that began in 2006 will now go to Parliament. I have worked hard at the Delhi Commission for Women. I will miss working in the DCW," the former chairperson of the DCW told ANI.
