Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday congratulated BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya on his resounding victory in the Rajya Sabha election, stating that he will play a significant role in building a prosperous Tripura.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said that the Bharatiya Janata Party membership drive started in the state on Tuesday and currently the target is to get 10 crore people enrolled in the country. He said that they have set a target of 12 lakh in Tripura.
In the aftermath of the floods in the state, individuals and organisations from various sectors--including banks, social organisations, and other groups--have stepped forward to contribute to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Sunday expressed his gratitude to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for donating Rs 5 crore to assist the flood victims in Tripura.
Financial contributions for flood relief were being deposited daily into the Chief Minister's Relief Fund from various sources, an official statement said on Saturday.

Tripura Chief Minister on Thursday thanked the donors who generously contributed to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund to support the people who have been affected severely due to the unprecedented floods and continuous rainfall in the state.
Aimed at bolstering flood relief efforts in Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday said that Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) for immediate assistance to those in need.
