Karnataka Aam Aadmi Party president Prithvi Reddy on Tuesday said that the party will seek people's opinions for the preparation of a manifesto for the state Assembly elections that will be held later this year.
After going through every political party's election manifesto or poll promises, electorates in Nagaland today are poised to cast their votes, keeping issues in minds ranging from separate state's demands, corruption, etc.
"Open the BJP manifesto. What have they done for farmers, the electricity, and many other promises made? It is not the duty of government to build temples and mosques," the Congress leader said on Friday.
Speaking at the unveiling of the party's poll pledges, the BJP national president said the potential of the Northeast state, which is rich in culture and tradition, hasn't been suitably harnessed and utilised till date.
Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien on Tuesday assured the implementation of all poll promises made by his party in the manifesto for the Meghalaya Assembly elections within 100 days if the party comes to power.
BJP national president JP Nadda was on Tuesday accorded a warm welcome to the party's state president Temjen Imna Along on his arrival at Dimapur airport.
"It will be an election manifesto budget. BJP doesn't have any agenda to help people. The BJP govt is only about making announcements and promises in the media," Shivakumar told ANI.
Releasing the party's manifesto for the Assembly polls in the presence of Chief Minister Manik Saha at the public meeting, Nadda said, "When BJP brings out a 'Sankalp Patra or a vision document, it's not only a piece of paper but is the BJP's commitment to the people."
