Days after an explosion in an autorickshaw in Karnataka's Mangaluru, Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar on Tuesday advised people to not share any unverified information after a video surfaced on social media in which two men can be seen near a wine shop with a bag.
Terming the Mangaluru incident as a "dastardly act of terror and violence", the Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar assured that the administration will nab all the culprits in the case.
"We can say that the accused acts have been inspired and influenced by some terrorist organisation which is having a global presence. So, it is due to that," the Karnataka ADGP said.
The accused, identified by the police as Sharik, has been admitted to the Father Muller Hospital in Karnataka's Mangaluru after he sustained 40-45 per cent burn injuries due to a fire that broke out in an autorickshaw in the Kankanadi police station area at around 5 pm on Saturday.
