A complaint was filed on March 11 by a woman at a cyber police station in the outer district, where she alleged that an unknown person created a fake Instagram account in her name, causing severe harassment and breach of privacy.
According to the police, the victim had filed a complaint at Cyber Police Station, North West District, alleging that she had befriended an individual on social media.
Karnataka Police arrested a man involved in a robbery near the Varthur police station in Bengaluru and also recovered gold worth Rs 8 lakh, the police said in a statement on Tuesday.
The temple is situated in Hardev Singh Ki Taal locality under the jurisdiction of Morar police station in the district. The incident occurred on Thursday, February 13 afternoon, thereafter a complainant, Arun Maurya, lodged a complaint to police.

The accused is a neighbour of the minor girl and the incident took place on Wednesday evening at around 8:30 when the victim went to play at the accused's house, the police added.
The conflict began when a polio worker entered the building to administer vaccines. The resident, identified as a mobile market trader, and his family refused to comply with the vaccination efforts and allegedly forcibly confined the polio worker to a room within the flat.
The accused is a resident of Berasia and he used to visit areas under the jurisdiction of Teela Jamalpura police station every two months to collect donations for the madrasa. During the last visit in July, the accused had molested the girl, the officer said.
The accused has been identified as Irfan Khan (38); the victim knew him and used to call him uncle. The accused took the minor with him by luring her during school lunch hour and committed the crime.
