West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday alleged the proposed 'Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita' to be an attempt to "quietly" introduce very "harsh and draconian anti-citizen" provisions.
"It is not time to shift blame to one another's shoulders and to be judgmental of the causes of the flood. Let us put aside the controversy over the "man-made" or "God-made" causes for the flood," Adhir Ranjan Choudhary said in a letter to Mamata Banerjee.
"You are showing us the way, how you are building up industrial infrastructure, road infrastructure. Everybody needs to see that. You can build up Dubai. Can't you build up my India, my West Bengal?... We have everything. From A to Z." the West Bengal Chief Minister said.

As India celebrated the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 lander module on the moon’s South Pole, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, on Wednesday expressed pride in India’s scientific and technological progress and said “Hail India, Jai Hind!”.
"BJP hired goons from outside. It's provocation. They sent team here to malign Bengal. This double engine government is a fake government. They spread fake videos," Mamata said in an attack on the BJP.
