West Bengal assembly Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday blamed the West Bengal government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the cancellation of 25,000 teachers' jobs in the state.

BJP workers staged a protest outside the New Jalpaiguri Police Station in Siliguri on Wednesday over the alleged murder of a minor girl on Tuesday evening. BJP protesting members said that women in West Bengal are not safe.
