A day after he surprisingly threw his hat in the ring for the post of Karnataka's Chief Minister, Dr G Parameshwara on Wednesday said that there is nothing controversial in selecting the candidate for State's top job.
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has held talks with all stakeholders in the State. Rahul Gandhi met Kharge on Tuesday to discuss government formation in the southern state.
According to party sources the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) chief DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah, a former CM and leader of Opposition, the two main contenders for the chief minister's post will meet with Rahul Gandhi at 10 Janpath.
