As the excitement gets high for the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Mandir on January 22, Online Travel company, Make My Trip has said that their platform has recorded a 97 per cent growth in searches for spiritual destinations, with Ayodhya being searched across the globe.
Ayodhya, the sacred city, is gaining wide attraction globally, as the travel booking platforms are witnessing a remarkable increase in searches, with notable spikes recorded not only from India but also from international travellers, particularly from the US and Gulf countries.
Online travel company Make My Trip on Monday said that it has observed a whopping 3,400 per cent increase in on-platform searches for beach destination Lakshadweep ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the archipelago.
Standing in support of India, Nishant Pitti took to social media X, stating, "In solidarity with our nation, @EaseMyTrip has suspended all Maldives flight bookings."
