While Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has been a two-time Chief Minister of Bihar, his sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav are finding it difficult to hold their ground in the 2025 Assembly elections.
Ahead of the Bihar Assembly Election vote counting, Janshakti Janata Dal chief and candidate from the Mahua seat, Tej Pratap Yadav, inspected the strong room in the Raj Narain College. After inspecting the strong room, he said that the arrangements are good.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Yadav said, "Mahua hamare naam se jaana jaata hai aur kisi ke naam se nahi. I see myself number 1 in Mahua (winning the Mahua seat)."
Janshakti Janata Dal chief and candidate from the Mahua seat, Tej Pratap Yadav, on Monday said that his party will win 10 to 15 seats in the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections.
"My security has been increased because there is a threat to my life. People will get me killed. There are many enemies, who are working (to get me killed)," Yadav told reporters here.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Kishan and Janshakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav greeted each other at the Patna Airport, while their parties are contesting against each other in the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections.
This comes after expelled RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav announced to contest as an independent candidate from the Mahua seat in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls.
