Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed strong confidence in the Mahuyuti alliance's success in the upcoming Assembly elections, stating that the outcomes of the welfare schemes will be reflected in the election results.
Maharashtra unit chief of BJP, Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Tuesday said that the BJP and Mahayuti are ready to contest the elections in the state, adding that the public will vote for the development done for the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Slamming the Maharashtra government over killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday said that this is the failure of law and order.
Siddique, a leader in Ajit Pawar's faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), was shot at near Nirmal Nagar in Bandra. He later succumbed to his bullet injuries at Lilavati Hospital late Saturday night.
