Three workers were killed while three others were injured in a fire that broke out at Kataria Agro Private Limited, Hingna MIDC in Maharashtra's Nagpur on Monday, officials said.
According to the Regional Disaster Management Centre of the Thane Municipal Corporation, several fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. The Police, disaster management team and fire brigade officers have also reached the site, said the officials.
A fire broke out at a chemical factory at Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district, informed officials on Thursday, adding that five fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Reportedly, the family had decided to jump from the terrace in panic to save themselves from the fire. The emergency team reached the spot on time, and rescued all of them.
The fire broke out in the slums of the Malad area in Mumbai, and fire personnel were at the spot, fighting the blaze, at the time of filing this report.
