An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 shook Nepal on Tuesday. The quake occurred around Babala of Accham district in Western Nepal at 18:08 (local time), the National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center (NEMRC), Nepal said in a tweet.
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said, "Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 14-11-2022, 03:42:27 IST, Lat: 31.95 & Long: 73.38, Depth: 120 Km, Location: 145km WNW of Amritsar, Punjab."
An earthquake has been reported near Neiafu in Tonga measuring 7.1 on the Ritcher scale. It occurred 207 km (128.6 miles) east south-east of Neiafu, the United States Geological Survey said.
Nepal's National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center till Thursday afternoon has recorded about 300 aftershocks measuring less than 4.0 magnitude. On Thursday morning, the western district of Bajura recorded a 4.1 Richter scale aftershock.
