Hours after the applications of the O Panneerselvam (OPS) faction were rejected by the Madras High Court, the HC has listed the appeal petition against the order, filed by OPS for hearing tomorrow.
Earlier on March 19, Madras HC said that AIADMK could continue the election proceedings for the General Secretary post but directed that the results could not be announced.
The announcement came after the Madras High Court Justice K Kumaresh Babu rejected the interim applications filed by AIADMK leaders O Paneer Selvam and his supporters seeking a stay on AIADMK general secretary polls.
A bench of justices V Ramasubramanian and Justice Pankaj Mithal reserved the order after hearing the submission made by both parties. The court said that they will consider the plea.
