A Congress leader in Madhya Pradesh's Indore has been arrested for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the police said on Saturday.
CM Chouhan made the remarks while addressing a program organised on 'Economic Survey and Budget 2023-24' at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre (Minto Hall) in the state capital Bhopal on Friday.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday released two tigers at Madhav National Park in Shivpuri district on Friday.
Police said they removed an illegal structure of the rape accused, Kaushal K Choubey, with a bulldozer which he had allegedly encroached on government land.
The incident was reported under Bhawar Kuan police station limits in the district on Wednesday night. The accused has been identified as Rahul Sen, around 40 years old, a resident of Ashok Nagar District.
Chouhan on Thursday said, "I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul of late Kaushik and give strength to the family members to bear this loss."
"Rahul Gandhi is talking abroad that no one listens in the country. He talked such childish things that the country's head bowed down in shame. He is crying like a child there that he is not being allowed to do this and that. Whatever you want to say, say it among the people of the country,"
