As Chandrayaan-3 achieved a soft landing on the South Pole of the moon, making India the first country to reach that particular area, former ISRO chief K Sivan on Wednesday said that it is sweet news, which was been waited for the last four years.
Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday expressed joy at the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 lander module on the moon’s South Pole, terming it a historic moment, and said it is a matter of pride for all of us.
As Chandrayaan-3 landed successfully on the South Pole of the moon, making India the first country to reach that particular area, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday dialled the ISRO chief S Somnath, congratulating him and his team on this historic feat.

Speaking to ANI, hours before the soft landing of the Chandrayaan-3 lunar module, Dr Surendra Pal, said, "I am confident just like the ISRO scientists that we will do much better because a lot of changes have been done as compared to Chandrayaan 2".
Priest of Khajrana Ganesh temple, Ashok Bhatt told ANI, “A havan was performed here after praying to Lord Ganesha for the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3. This will increase the pride of our nation."
