Mayers started the power hitting, scoring 54 off 24 balls, and Stoinis continued the momentum by scoring 72 off 40 balls. Ayush Badoni contributed 43 off 24, however, Nicholas Pooran's dangerous 45 off 19 balls at the end provided the second biggest target of 258 in IPL.
Both sides have the same numbers of wins and losses and have four wins in seven matches. However, LSG is placed fourth due to a better net-run rate while PBKS is at the 6th position in the points table
The English player was out of action in the last two matches of LSG due to his illness. Mark has been a spearhead for LSG in the bowling line up, taking 11 wickets in four matches with the best spell against Delhi Capitals for 5/14.
