An eight-member delegation of NDA leaders will visit Karur in Tamil Nadu to look into the circumstances which led to the loss of lives in the stampede during the TVK party's rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu.
Speaking to ANI, Sharan Prakash said, "This is a very unfortunate incident... The government should issue standard operating procedures and some guidelines for conducting huge programmes so such incidents don't happen in future..."
The Union Minister also informed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke with Chief Minister MK Stalin regarding the situation and assured that the Centre is ready to provide all necessary assistance.
