Congress Lok Sabha candidate Sukhjinder Singh from Gurdaspur constituency arrived with his family at the designated polling to cast their votes in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha candidate Rekha Patra from Basirhat has criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for their alleged hooliganism during elections and expressed confidence in being able to cast her vote this time.
Meanwhile, voting is underway in West Bengal's nine seats including-- Barasat, Basirhat, Diamond Harbour, Dum Dum, Jaynagar, Jadavpur, Kolkata Dakshin, Kolkata Uttar, and Mathurapur.

The seventh phase marks a grand finish to the world's largest polling marathon that began on 19th of last month and already covered six phases and 486 Lok Sabha seats.
According to the Election Commission of India, over 10.06 crore elector including approximately 5.24 crore male, 4.82 crore female and 3574 third gender electors exercising their franchise. A total of 904 candidates are in the fray for Phase 7 polling.
